Professional Heat Treatment Techniques

Heat treatment is a process that involves heating a metal or alloy to a required temperature and then cooling that item to harden the material. Heat treatment is something that can be applied at various stages in the manufacturing process which is any time hardening of certain properties is required of that metal or alloy.

Heat treatment is typically post weld to temper harder materials such as F22, 4130, and 8630. Heat treatment can also reduce any hardness that’s caused from the welding process, this provides stress relief of bulkier areas. While TRCW offers various high capacity furnaces for this process, we also are capable of providing electrical resistance and post weld heat treatment induction solutions.

Our heat treatment procedures are held to the highest quality standards which include attached thermocouples and calibrated chart reporting data so we can provide you, our customer, with the traceability of all parts and components.
